From about 2004 to 2014, “I was taking 12 prescriptions a day,” Mike recalls. This included up to 10 doses of the opioid Darvocet (dextropropoxyphene), later switching to multiple daily doses of Vicodin (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen).
